Exchange studies via University Wide Agreements (Uniwide)
As a student at Lund University, in addition to the exchange opportunities offered by the faculty, you can study abroad for 1–2 semesters via the Lund University Wide Agreements (Uniwide).
As a student at the Faculty of Medicine, you undertake this exchange outside your study programme, with the exception of students in the Biomedicine programmes and the Master’s Programme in Public Health. This means that you need to take an approved leave from your study programme.
Note that most courses in medicine/care are not open to exchange students within the university wide agreements and you cannot apply for a clinical placement. Check the course list for each university before you apply. The studies abroad are generally not credited within the degree for your degree program, with the exception of biomedicine and public health sciences.
Studying abroad within Uniwide generally does not count towards the degree, with the exception of the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Biomedicine and Master's programme in Public Health.
