Students’ unions

Lund has a rich student life with associations and organisations covering most interests. There is also a wide range of activities specifically intended for students at the Faculty of Medicine, organised via the Corpus Medicum students’ union.

Corpus Medicum

The students’ union, Corpus Medicum, monitors courses and study programmes through student representation in various decision-making bodies within the Faculty of Medicine. The student representatives look after and help develop the study programmes.

Corpus Medicum consists of two sections:

Medicinska föreningen (MF)

Students at the medicine, biomedicine, public health, fysioterapeut, speech therapy and audiology programmes can join the Medicinska föreningen (MF) section.

Vårdvetenskapliga studentföreningen (VÅVS) 

“Vårdvetenskapliga studentföreningen (VÅVS) : For students in the nursing, radiology nurse, occupational therapist, midwifery, specialist nursing programmes and the Master of Medical Science.

These sections organise a number of different social activities for their members, such as brunch, pea soup lunch, book club, student theatre, job fairs, parties, and various sporting activities.
